Flight - Group Tickets
To give the conference participants an option to buy
cheaper flight tickets, we have booked a number of group
tickets and can therefore offer you a special price on
the flight from Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen, Denmark
to Vágar Airport in The Faroe Islands.
Note that we have a
limited number of seats on the flight. Therefore you
must hurry to book a ticket if you want to make sure to
get a cheap flight. A full rate ticket costs
approximately DKR 4000. We offer group tickets, and the
price goes from DKR 2420.
The airline who we are flying with is Atlantic
Airways - www.atlantic.fo.
This is the only airline that is operating in the
Faroes.

group tickets are sold out we might be able to arrange
another group ticket option, travelling from the 9th June to
12th June. If you are interested in this option please contact
Ása Andreasen - asa@synergi.fo. If you already have booked and paid for Travel option A or
Travel option B your reservation cannot be changed.
Transport from/to Vágar airport to Hotel Føroyar is included
the flight ticket. You will be informed by email about the
details before arrival.

Accommodation The conference will be held at Hotel Føroyar where we also will stay during the conference. Hotel Føroyar is a modern 4 star
conference hotel. It is located up on the mountain overlooking Tórshavn,
the Capital of The Faroe Islands.
All the rooms have a
spectacular view over the city and have all been
refurbished in 2007 and 2009.
Included in the Basic Conference Package, there is one bed in a
double room. Note
that there may be
another guest in your room. Roommate requests will be honoured
where possible. If you want, you can choose to book a single room. You will be charged extra for the single
room.
It will take you approx. 10-15
min. to walk from the hotel to downtown - and a little bit
longer back home.
